Who do you go to in order to get your taxes done? Your Accountant.
Who do you go to in order to buy/sell a house? Your Realtor.
Who do you go to for your insurance questions? State Farm? All-State? Doesn’t really matter. You go to someone.
What I’m getting at is that you go to these people who specialize in these areas of work because that’s what they do everyday. They are experts who you’ve built great relationships with that you can trust when something drastic happens in your life or if you just have a simple question.
For those in the IT industry, who do you go to when you find out that your company just got acquired, and they are letting people go? That the project you’ve been working on for 3 years lost its funding, and everyone in that project will be affected? That you’ve been on the bench for far too long and haven’t been working? That they decided you just weren’t a “fit” anymore?
