Businesses all over the US (as well as Louisville!) have inflated their hiring budgets and are boosting their employee numbers accordingly, and many of you have already experienced the multiple recruiter calls offering you a variety of new opportunities to choose from, calls that you weren’t receiving even a month prior (And if you haven’t been receiving these calls, get your name out there! Update your Linkedin profile with all of your skills, put your profile on Monster.com or another job site, and you WILL get noticed). Many savvy workers have already learned this seasonal shift, and have taken advantage of it, trading their old desks for new ones to experience the fresh vibes, unfamiliar faces, and diversified responsibilities of a new work environment. If you are on the fence about making a move, take a few moments of your day to take a phone call from a recruiter, reply to an email, or even call upon a recruiter yourself, and see if there is something out there that would bring uncertainty and excitement into the tasks that currently absorb the majority of your waking hours.
